Year 7 Choices

Year 7 is the beginning of an exciting journey! You'll make new friends and will have new subjects to learn. It might seem scary at first with lots of new faces and lots of different classrooms but everyone is in the same boat.
Some subjects will be familiar, like maths and English, and some will be new. Even though your GCSEs are a long way off it's a good time to start thinking about which subjects you enjoy and what you're good at.
You can start thinking about:
- What you enjoy doing in your spare time.
- What you enjoy doing at school.
- The different types of job available to you.
- What you're good at.
If anything is worrying you …
…you will feel a lot better if you share it with someone else.
That someone could be …
- A teacher who you like
- Your parents or carers
- A friend
- An adult you trust
- Your Personal Adviser
