It is unlawful to discriminate, or treat unfairly, somebody because of their gender, race, sexual orientation, age or disability. 
 
If you feel that you've been treated unfairly in the workplace then there are places you can turn to to get advice; this applies to training places too.
 
You also have other rights at work such as Time Off for Study and Training, National Minimum Wage and working hours.
 
Remember, the law is there to protect you so seek advice if you're worried about anything.  Talk to your Personal Adviser, Connexions Direct or look at the links below.
